Owsa Labs supplies research peptides to laboratories, universities and research businesses in the United Kingdom. We sell material and the documentation that describes it. Nothing else.
What we do
We source lyophilised peptides, commission identity and purity testing on the lots we hold, and publish what that testing found — including where it has not been done yet. Orders are dispatched from the UK.
That is a deliberately narrow description. This industry has a habit of presenting itself as something adjacent to healthcare, and we would rather be a supplier that can prove what is in a vial than a brand with a story about wellness.
How we think about evidence
Three principles, and they are the reason parts of this site look less polished than a competitor’s.
A claim without a document is not a claim
“Independently tested” means nothing unless you can see the report, check which lot it covers, and confirm it came from a laboratory rather than from us. Our certificates page publishes real coverage as a count, including when that count is low.
24 of 67 catalogue items currently have a published certificate of analysis. Some batch data shown on this site is sample data added for design purposes. See the full list
Gaps are published, not hidden
Where a batch has no certificate, the product page says so rather than staying quiet and leaving a general assurance elsewhere on the site to do the work. A page that says “pending” is more useful than one that implies testing nobody commissioned.
We do not advise on use
We will not tell you what quantity to use, how compounds compare in practice, or what to expect. Not by email, not by phone, and not with a hedge attached. Answering would be practising medicine without the qualifications, the authorisation or the patient — and it would make every research-use statement on this site untrue.
What we will answer, in detail and quickly, is anything about purity, batch documentation, storage, handling, shipping and returns. The reasoning is set out in what “research use only” means.
What we are not
- Not a pharmacy. Nothing here is a licensed medicine, and no prescription is dispensed or accepted.
- Not a manufacturer under a pharmaceutical quality system. Material is not produced to GMP, is not supplied sterile, and is not tested for endotoxin. What testing does and does not establish.
- Not a source of advice on human use. As above.
Who we are
OWSA_TODO_LEGAL — complete before the store goes public. This section is intentionally blank rather than filled with invented history. An about page that describes a founding story nobody can verify undercuts the argument the rest of this page is making, so it is better empty than fictional.
Add here: who runs the business, relevant background, where it operates from, and the registered company details also required on the contact page under the Electronic Commerce Regulations 2002 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
